Draakula is my 8-bit music project. It is my first 8-bit music project and fourth music project overall (after the folk metal Waldkrach, the homemade industrial Fadenfreude, and the homemade folk metal Linnalapsi). Draakula’s self-titled first album was made live on Bandcamp on Sunday, October 25, 2025, with a more official release designated for Halloween 2025.
The music is presented as a soundtrack to a late-80’s non-existent game. The name derives from Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula, and the Dutch word for “dragon”, “Draak”.
